Self Employed Business Ideas

Thinking back to college students pulling all nighters in order to achieve excellent grades and then go on to becoming dedicated and focused employees, sacrificing family time in order to attain top positions in their jobs...

Then to become victims of failed retirement plans, mutual fund losses, the sub-prime financial disaster, and an unbelievable real estate downturn..seems to me this is the all time worst kick in the teeth! More and more people started thinking of self employed business ideas.

I feel compassion for every single person who has had such an experience. The question that has been weighing heavily on my mind is, "How can I help?".

I worked my way through college. Two waitressing jobs. I completed a 4 year degree in 3 years. Fast forward 30 years. I am now married with three grown step children along with the three that I birthed...so six children in all :)

Our eldest son has his Masters degree in business and the others are all college educated, apart from the 2 who are too young that is. As for me, well I am now a successful internet marketer with my own business, and I think it's safe to say I am respected among my peers.

What if I said to you, that over the last 20 years, my husband and I have successfully implemented nine self employed business ideas. We have started businesses and sold them.

We have seized opportunities and riden waves, getting off at the right times. We have literally rolled with the times.

Why am I telling you all of this? Well because many people have abilities beyond their consideration. They have the ability to rise above all the uncertainties of stock market plunges, mutual funds, 401K investments...all they need is a little inspiration, the right training and perhaps a gentle nudge.

I believe I can help to guide and teach anyone who has the gumption to release their fear and to just dream a little outside of the box.

First and foremost, self employed business ideas come from the right mindset. It really is just about the law of "seek and you shall find".

It is a decision and then the resolve to see it through with consistency and determination.

Every single mega business,started as the self employed business idea of a human being like us, most of them were really just average Joe's who were determined not to work for anyone, some of whom never even finished college.

Think Microsoft, Facebook and then go back in history: J.Paul Getty, Henry Ford. The list of economic heroes are full of people who were never expected to amount to much.

There are definitely qualities in all of them that, if adopted by us would bring similar results. These qualities operate as laws, just like the law of gravity. These laws are no respecter of persons.

Do you really want to just surrender and resign yourself to being a victim of the times or is there something inside of you that says..I would much rather live my life knowing that I have given it my best shot!
